House style.

My comic needs to have a house style- which is a media term for the conventions or format of that magazine being followed throughout either the whole magazine/ comic, or a series of them. This is very important when it comes to editing a comic or magazine because you want to make sure that it is consistent and recognisable throughout, as for one it makes it easier to read with the it flowing. However you also want your comic to be distinctly recognisable. So people know when they are reading one of your comics without even looking at the front cover.

You can achieve this by using the same format in every page like cell style- wether they are hand drawn or custom shapes for example. Also things like line thickness, Border sizes, fonts all need to stay the same throughout to follow the style of the comic. This does not mean it is boring as you can still adapt the format for each story and still make it fun. It just means it helps it look more professional.
