Overall i feel the comic has gone well. I think it is really eye catching, funny story and flows well. It looks professional as the front cover and two page spread follow a house style so they flow from one to the other and the front cover gives a very good indication to the main story inside. I feel it has gone well as from doing my media i have done magazines and comics before so i knew what research and theorists to look at. From doing this it has influenced my work hugely as at first i was getting a bit lost as to what to do or the style it should be, but now i have a comic that is in the style that i like but also a functional piece.
The two page spread comic was deliberately done with the intention of only using yellow, as i didn't like using lots of color in my work as it didn't stand out to me but also i didn't want it to look like a children's comic book. So i decided to do my image just using black and white sketches that i would scan into photoshop, but then i had the problem of them looking to drab and characters not standing out. Other comic examples decide to just color up the main characters or the foreground to give a stand out feature which i don't like as it is a bit of a obvious thing to do. Thats when i thought of just using yellow but in the right scenes.
I have also used simple square cell shapes as to me it looks much more professional than having very busy custom cells that are not as easy to follow and read. It also made the art in them stand out much more than with different shapes, as i wanted to focus the attention of the reader on the work.
