For the name of my magazine i have been thinking long and hard about what i can call it. It had to be short so less than 4 letters but also easy to say and related to my audience. So i had a bit of a think trying to pick a name for my magazine but every one i thought of was already taken like Stop, Out and Park. However i really wanted to have the name out! This is because as my target audience is mainly adults, they usually have kids and to me 'out!'. Has connotations of a parent sitting in there comfy chair or in their room with their kids running in on them reading this comic, and them pointing saying out!
So i changed the word out slightly and spelt it awt. This way it get round the legal issue of using out but when people say it it will kind of sound like it. Which i think it looks quite good, as it is bright, bold and eye catching.
These are a few of my other ideas for how to shape the text.
