This is a poster that i liked as i was attracted to the bright colors of the waves which guided me down to the type writer. From seeing the poster i read up on it and found out that it is a very clever advertising campaign that captures one of your most powerful senses. The touch and feeling of something. As the colourful waves are design to stimulate the feeling of rapid typing moment of the type writer. Which usually on a advertising campaign people show what a product can do and features of the product but the feeling of something is just as important, or even more in fact. As if you get someone to imagine the sense of using it that will stimulate them a lot and make them want to buy it. But the most interesting thing is that all this is subliminal and you often don't even know its even happening.
This theory you can apply to any design but especially with the bus interchange and my alice and wonderland project as for both the whole point of the thing is to grab someones attention. Whether it to be to go into a coffee shop or notice some glass. Then secondly you want them to have a mental interaction with it. For example with the alice and wonderland tee stall poster you want people to think instantly about coffee or tea then you want them to imagine going in and having some to stimulate there smell, touch and taste as thats where a lot of your memories stem from. The same applies for the bus station you want people to think of buses and worksop from your designs. To treat that the same as a advertising campaign i feel is a good way to view it.
