To get the best outcome to make a shape with lines to resemble a face i thought the best way would be to trace shapes over a image. However for speed and efficiency i decided just to take a picture of my own face and load it up in photoshop and make another layer which using the polygonal lasso tool i could do pillar straight lines to create a shape that resembles a face.
this is how i did it. I also got a cardboard texture to see what it will look like in card
This is what the outcome is. However it doesn't look much but in my head it has given me a better idea of what sort of shapes work and which don't. I can also play with colors of this.
