This is the brief i received from my tutor. I have read though the brief and highlighted key areas of importance so it is clear in my mind what the college want from me by commissioning us to do this work. This means when it comes to developing my ideas and producing a product it not only meets there spec but accedes it. Also by understanding the task it means you can take a very basic idea and turn it into a complex, interesting and eye catching piece. But still retaining a basic understanding of what information needs to be conveyed! But first you have to have the basic meaning and message which is right for what the college want.
From this I now have a clear idea of what the college need/ want - which is a clear educational message to give to students but conveyed in a humours, eye catching or intriguing way, so all students can relate to it, but most importantly want to pick it up and read it.
The next step i am going to do is to brainstorm all my initial ideas and possible things to do with education and student life.
