Henry Moore

Henry Moore was a very famous, important and influential English sculpture/ Artist of the 20^th century, who was very well known for his semi-abstract and simplistic sculptures. He was most internationally recognised in the post war period, with his work mostly being simplistic abstract figures of the human form- Often portraying the mother and child or reclining figures. He is useful to look at for my 3d human form project because obviously most of his art has been human form sculptures, but also I like the way the art is very abstract and figurative but still resembling a human body.  Heres some of his work that i like or interests me...

So in my 3D work i am going to try and incorporate some of Henry Mores style into my own work to try and get a more figurative  and smooth look to my work, instead of trying to get every mark and detail to the exact scale. Also his work is very bold and eye-catching which for me from a graphic design view is a extremely important thing element to have.
