Frank bobbings institute.

This afternoon we were taken down to the frank bobbing institute art gallery to view some of the art work. The gallery was in a unusual old house which contradict the normal conventions of a typical art gallery with them being usual modern, or certainly white clean and crisp. but this one wasn't it was quite dark with a almost spooky feel to it. Which was shown

through the art work. The work was very experimental in comparison to other work I have previously seen as it was very interactive and involved sculptures, videos and sounds. With the art work being unusual and different meant it was much more thought provoking and everybody else saw something different in the art. Personally the piece I liked most was the video that was projected onto the box and wall.

I liked this the best because it combine lots of different elements like the graphics of the video which the light of the projector created a dark shadow around to draw you in even further. also the art and sound gives the work another depth.  I feel i was drawn to this as i have done a instilation before where i scanned pieces of my work and projected them in a video onto scrap car door and bonnet to create a riot scene which was part of my project.

Here was some of the other artwork that was in.
