we repeatedly did 1 point, 2 point and 3 point perspective over and over again to try and build up a understanding of perspective. which sounds really easy and boring. But by doing this over and over again has now made it become second nature to me. So now when it comes to doing my own art. now I have this basic knowledge I can adapt it to create more interesting and artistic pieces. But that still have elements of realism!
These were just quick ruff sketches to build up a understanding of how perspective works. However personally i am drawn to more 'sketchy' expressive drawings anyway. Which works really well for the scenes i were drawings as streets and cities tend to be fast paced and constantly moving, whether that be people walking or traffic driving. So these sketchy and cross hatched lines gives of connotations of movement. So for me these 3 drawings really stand out even though they were only quick 5 minuet sketches.
