Milton Glasers work is extremely iconic with the I love new York design! This was originally designed in 1977 to promote tourism in new York, but has been used decades later in exactly the same format, not only in New York. But world wide throughout different cities.
The design is rather old and slightly over used now. But the thing that makes this iconic and a great design is that it is so simple that it is almost genius- which is why it has been copied so much around the world! This is the sort of design work that is the style I follow because I like very simplistic and bold art and design, I don't like things that are too fussy. He also did the very well known DC logo which is still used today!
